Words From Your Grand Master
Ill. Grand Master Donald J. Carey 33
I bring you greetings from Jeff Long Grand Lodge.
I would like to say to each and every member of our organization that It has been a pleasure serving as your Grand Master for the past 4 years. We have made great strides towards making this state one of the best in the organization, but our work is not done. We must continue to improve ourselves as men and promote the princapals that Masonry has taught us. Hope, Faith and Charity.
Without Faith there is no Hope for Charity.
Charity is the cheif of social virtues, and the distinguishing characteristics of a Mason and the virtue includes a supreme degree of love for the Great Creater of the Universe.
Our goals for the year of 2009 must be to continue to educate our members and continue to strive to be the best we can be. We must also continue to grow our State's membership. Support each other in all our endevours and treat each other with the utmost respect. All departments must work together to support one another, our Blue House needs to support the Red House and the Red House support's the Black House, this will promote growth in all Departments.
We MUST have more participation in our Joint Council,Shrine,Exaulted Degree functions.
Always remember to Keep God first and the rest will Follow.
Through him all things are possible, and without him everything seems impossible.
Continue to look to the Heavans and your blessings will rain down upon you.
Thank You,
Ill. Donald J. Carey 33°
Grand Master
